Untuk makluman semua ibubapa/penjaga dan pelajar Tingkatan 3, 5 dan 6 Atas SMK Labis

Jawatankuasa Peningkatan Akademik SMK Labis akan mengadakan kelas tambahan Program Cuti-cuti Belajar semasa cuti pertengahan tahun 2010, khusus untuk pelajar Tingkatan 3, 5 dan 6 Atas. Pelajar-pelajar yang tidak hadir semasa surat siaran ini diedarkan diminta mendapatkannya dari Ketua Tingkatan pada hari Jumaat. Surat dan jadual juga boleh dimuat-turun melalui laman web ini.

NOTA: Pakaian: Semua pelajar dikehendaki memakai pakaian rasmi kokurikulum (merah atau T-shirt rasmi unit beruniform).

    That same morning, Janet Brown registered herself at the reception at the Sipadan-Mabul Resorts.  The place was quiet.  Only a few other tourists were seen talking in the resort restaurant.  Janet walked to an empty seat at one corner of the restaurant.  She ordered her favourite drink, Cappucino and sat down.  Waiting, she scanned the horizon.  The beach was white and the sea so calm.  The palm trees that lined the shores was a picturesque sight.  Such a beautiful place, she thought.  David was right.  If only David was here with her, she thought again.  As she watched the seagulls, her mind drifted back to England.  They had planned the trip together but fate intervened.  David was killed in an accident a week before their trip.  This trip is for David, she reminded herself.  She finished her drink, got up and walked to her chalet.

The days when the Form 1 and Peralihan students look for spiders in the vicinity of the Taman SPBT are now in memory. The spider paradise has been under renovation since Teachers Day, 16 May, 2010. The renovation involves the building of a gazebo courtesy of Koperasi SMKL. As the gazebo takes shape, and the white lily, once the home of the 'fighting spiders' gone, I wonder where and when the young ones would go hunting for spiders next, or if they ever will.  I hope students would continue to flock the area and instead of hunting for spiders, read about them.  With a book in hand, the gazebo would be a nice place to sit and relax.

Tahniah kepada pasukan Kadet Remaja Sekolah yang muncul johan dalam pertandingan kawad kaki peringkat sekolah 2010.  Kadet Polis menduduki tempat kedua manakala Pandu Puteri menduduki tempat ketiga.
